Wynn Macau & Wynn Palace



Since Wynn Resorts opening its first hotel in Macau in 2006, the hotel group did not have any social media presence for this renowned hotel in the Asia Market for more than 8 years of establishment. Online and social presence of the hotel group could be hugely improved.

The team and I expanded the scope of work of Weber Shandwick Hong Kong for Wynn Resorts from traditional public relations work to social media counsel and social media management. Set up social channels, ideate content for both Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace hotels to promote their hotel rooms, restaurants, spas and entertainment on Facebook, Sina Weibo, Instagram, YouTube and Youku pages. Provided daily community management, fan acquisition, content development and paid media promotion to engage online audience in APAC with a focus of China and Hong Kong.


Results:
Over-achieved KPIs in fan growth and post reach by 300% and post engagement by over 250% across the social media channels of Wynn Resorts.
